กท 1998 Ritural Ceremonies of the Saisat and Amis Tribes Because of the rapid decline of traditional Taiwanese aboriginal singing and dancing, the company has undertaken the mission of authentically preserving their special beauty. In this production the group will present two completely different types of tribal rituals and ceremonies. The Saisiat tribe's Ceremony of the Little People features repeated exhortations reminding the village people to cherish themselves, their families, friends, and their tribe. In the second, the New Year ceremony of the Tabalong village of the Amis, tribe members use their voices to mark the traces of their ancestors with songs that recount the origins and legendary stories of their tribe.
